Industry Needs Assessment

Our Industry Needs Assessment will give you the feel for the road as you handle a commercial vehicle. Your Instructor will assess your driving skills and determine exactly which program you would best be suited for in order to prepare you for gainful employment in the transportation world. A pre-enrolment interview with one of our Admission Representatives will outline opportunities available to you.

Tractor-Trailer AZ Program

  • 6 week program
  • 1:1 in truck professional training
  • PTDI Certified/Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
  • In Yard Training/In Class Theory
  • Computer Base Training
  • Tax Deductible

Dispatch Operator

  • 4 week program
  • Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career College Act, 2005
  • Learn the skills to become and entry level Dispatcher
  • PC-Miler/Transcore Link Logistics

DZ Professional Driver Program

  • 1:1 in truck professional training
  • In Yard Training
  • Computer Base Training

Heavy Equipment Operator

  • Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career College Act, 2005
  • In Class Theory (1 week)
  • In Field Practical (3 weeks)
  • Loading/Unloading
  • Backhoe/Loader, Excavator, Bulldozer/Skid Steer
  • Principles of Surveying
  • Safety on the Job (trench/electrical)
  • Tax Deductible

Transportation & Construction Program (10 weeks)

This program is a combination of our AZ Program with our Heavy Equipment Operator Program.  Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career College Act, 2005

Transportation & Construction Express (7 weeks or 267 hrs.)

This program is a condensed version of the above.  You will get hands on training with Backhoe/Loader and Forklift and you will do the full AZ Program.  Upon completion you will receive a TTSAO certificate and a PTDI certificate for the AZ portion.  Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career College Act, 2005

Trainer Development Programs

These custom courses vary in content and length and could take any where from 2 days to 16 weeks to complete. They may include Shadow Training, In Class Observation and Instruction, Computer Base Training, Behind the Wheel, Heavy Equipment and Forklift training.

Programs are customized to service the needs of each individual.

Professional Forklift Operator

  • 1:1 Practical training and testing
  • On-line theory
  • Two programs: Beginner and Advance

Drivers Education – CAA  Approved Driving School

  • 20 hours in class
  • 10 hours homeworkParent-Tested-Parent-Approved
  • 10 hours of 1:1 in car instruction
  • Approved beginner Driver Education Program by Ministry of Transportation
  • Drivers Education graduate certificates are recognized by the Insurance Industry
  • Monthly courses
  • 1 year basic CAA membership upon graduation
